NepHop takes the UK by storm

A new craze has hit the UK music scene recently and this new craze is called NepHop! What is NepHop you may ask? NepHop is a sub-genre of Nepali Hip Hop. With a huge population of Nepali communities in the United Kingdom due to the army NepHop has blown up in the UK.

Nepal is a country located in South Asia. It is a small country with a big culture, similar to india's culture but totally unique at the same time. Many people know it because theis is where Mount Everest is located and becasue of this they have a huge tourist popular.

Kristina Allen, who is one of our artists lives in Nepal. Her mother is from South Asia, however her father is originally from the United Kingdom. She has a major interest in NepHop because of the mixture of cultures as she wsas growing up. NepHop consists of elements of English hip hop, Nepali culture and hints of Bollywood music.

She will soon be realising a NepHop version of one of her english track. Keep your eyes and ears open!
